finally, the o-level MT exams are over, i can finally breathe a little easier, and its been a week since i touched the com.. im amazed at how hard it is just to simply not use the computer, the age old question popping out, do we control technology or does technology control us?
im just beginning to fight against the grapple-hold my com has over me...
im really beginning to wonder, what if one day technology totally encompasses every single aspect of our daily lives? essentially we would be held prisoner to technology!
just for the fun of it, let us imagne a scenario of everyday life as it is

one day u wake up in the morning woken by ur alarm clock. you take a shower in your toilet, then you run to grab your toast in the toaster, after which u rush to school on a bus.

just this simple sequence of events we do every day will show us how much technology has a part in our lives. first, the simple alarm clock tt wakes u up will have a quartz crystal keeping time second by second, if you did not have the brainchild of many years of research waking you up, what would? some people posess a natural body clock, that should be the way you wake up, not by means of some mechanical electronic contraption. also the shower you bathe in, without the technological advances, we would still be bathing in a river! and as for food, cooked on a gas stove, toasted in a toaster with heating elements, all that and more. now just think of one day an EMP(electromagnetic pulse) shockwave disabled every electronic device in your area, no clock, you'd wake up late, no electricity to toast bread, the gas stations will shut down stopping gas supplies to your stove, water will stop flowing to your homes due to pump malfunctions at the resevoir and the causeway pipes, life as we know it would simply come to a halt.

we are imminently heading towards a way of no return, where technology reigns supeme.
as a chinese saying goes, water may float a boat on it or it may sink the boat to the bottom of the sea. technology is this "water" and we are the people on the boat, just appreciate the things we do without technology while we can.

mann tt was a load of meaningful crap, i just got a load of technology today, jarred got himself a PSP cos his dad didnt want it any more, his friend A.J also has one and they just took the nifty little gadgets outta their bags like some casual device. im like, whoa.. rich fags...

on an earlier convo with my friend on msn, her junoir, 3 of them, all had psp's at sec 2 and they all let her play, seesh! and ipod nano's are becoming increasingly common... man.. what has this world come to? oh and just as a sidenote, jarred also has a 3G phone and the other guy called A.J. has a motorola razr... rich fags.. damm...
okok im getting depressend enough at my state, losing my mp3 and having an old phone, argh who cares, i left my phone at home for 3 whole days and i barely felt the pinch, seems that im more independant of technology than quite a significant amount of others
im tired if typing... okok tts all fot today...
